Venus Williams served up multiple winning looks for her nuptials.
The tennis star, 45, married actor Andrea Preti, 37, in two weddings — the first taking place on Sept. 18 in Ischia, Italy, and the second over this past weekend in Palm Beach, Fla., according to Vogue.
For her legal courthouse ceremony in Florida on Dec. 19, Venus stunned in a Morilee New York gown.
“I asked for one dress,” Venus told Vogue. “They made 10 dresses, all custom. The dress I ended up wearing was just divine. I also had an outfit to wear when we left so I wouldn’t draw attention to myself. It was a classic short skirt and top, and I had the perfect headpiece for it.”

On the day of the home wedding celebration, Venus wore “the most incredible dress” designed by Georges Hobieka. She accessorized with Messika jewelry.
“I wanted to wear a gown that Andrea would love and one that captured the essence of the Florida wedding we were creating,” Venus told Vogue.
Preti was instantly wowed by his bride, whose hair and makeup was done by Angela Meadows and Natasha Gross, respectively, throughout the multi-day festivities.
“When I saw Venus, she was beautiful, like a goddess,” Preti shared with the magazine. “I was crying and happy.”
Venus had wanted to try on her “magical and perfect” gown before the wedding, but a sample wasn’t available.
“I was in Paris for a day, and I said, ‘I have to go try this dress.’ It was during Fashion Week. It was crazy, but somehow we made it work. I wanted my sister [Isha] to come up, and when she did, she started crying. It was just perfect,” the tennis pro recalled to the outlet. “The way it sparkles, the transparency — it reminds me of the ocean and sea.”

Back in September, Serena Williams, 44, shared with PEOPLE during the launch of her and Venus’ podcast, Stockton Street, that she was helping her older sister with planning ahead of her nuptials. For her own wedding to Alexis Ohanian in 2017, Serena told Vogue she wore three dresses — a strapless Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen princess ballgown for her ceremony, a beaded and feathered Versace gown for her reception grand entrance and a short Versace look for her first dance.
“She wanted me to help her with some dresses, or was it hairstyles?,” Serena recalled of her conversation with Venus to PEOPLE. “She wanted literally 14 hairstyles — and she was like, ‘What do you think?’ So she sent me her options, and within 30 minutes I had them not only done, but in a PDF file what hairstyle looked best on everyone.”
“So I pulled out my computer because I work in [venture capital] and you just got to get things done,” she added.

Venus has had some time to think of the perfect wedding outfits since confirming her engagement to Preti this year during a post-match interview in July, about five months after the pair got engaged in Tuscany on Jan. 31.
The pair were first linked in July 2024, when they were seen boating in Nerano, Italy, along the Amalfi Coast. The two have kept their relationship mostly private, though they have stepped out together at a few events.
Venus has also shared glimpses into her relationship from time to time. She previously posted a selfie of herself and Preti vacationing in the Bahamas on her Instagram Stories, calling her now-husband “the best company.”
