JASON Bright is preparing for an endurance task of a different sort to what he’d become used to during a prolific Supercars career.
Bright won the 1998 Bathurst 1000 with Steven Richards and went on to tally 578 Supercars Championship races, before turning his focus to his Taskforce business.
It’s through Taskforce that the 52-year-old’s next mission has been announced.
Alongside his former Holden Racing Team colleague Lucas Docking, Bright will cycle 1500km through regional Victoria and New South Wales for five days.
The expedition is aimed at raising money for youth charity Bridge Builders.
Somewhat fittingly given his HRT past, Bright will represent ‘Team Red’ – donations to which can be made here.
