The South East Melbourne Phoenix are reportedly set to sign 2024 NBA G League champion, Hunter Maldonado, according to ESPN’s Olgun Uluc.
Maldonado, a 26-year-old combo guard, won a championship with Oklahoma City Thunder’s G League affiliate team, Oklahoma City Blue. Prior to that, he played college basketball for the University of Wyoming.
He last played in the German basketball league, Basketball Bundesliga (BBL), with the MHP Riesen Ludwigsberg.
