Josh Schuster has been spotted having coffee with Manly coach Anthony Seibold in a sign his NRL career might not be over yet.
The talented 24-year-old signed with South Sydney prior to last season but failed to feature in a first grade game for the club and managed just five NSW Cup games.
Schuster was let go by the Rabbitohs after only signing a one-year contract and remains in the rugby league wilderness despite his enormous potential.

The former Samoan international has been active on social media in recent months as he takes time away from the game.
However, as revealed by Nine’s Michael Chammas on Sunday afternoon, Schuster met with Seibold as he weighs up a potential return to football.
“I’m told Schuster is in a good place at the moment and wants to make something of his career,” Chammas wrote via X.
“Seibold has always been a fan of his, so will be interesting to see how this plays out.”
After bursting onto the scene as a teenager five years ago, Schuster looked to have ushered in a new era for the Sea Eagles and many tipped him to become the club’s long-term five-eighth after impressing in his early appearances.
Schuster then spent time in the forward pack before injuries and form saw him drop out of the Manly side and eventually, he was granted a release despite having multiple years left on a lucrative contract until the end of 2027.
He has played 50 first grade games, scoring five tries.
