Brisbane Lions star Lachie Neale was seen back in his home state of South Australia at the weekend, as his high-profile marriage drama continues to make headlines.

According to The Advertiser, the AFL star is spending time in a family holiday house in the coastal town of Robe, about 300km southeast of Adelaide. He was seen on Saturday morning getting into a car, the publication reports.

Meanwhile it appears his wife Jules Neale has been in WA with her family after she shared an image from Busselton Jetty, south of Perth, on Tuesday.

The image was accompanied by a mending heart emoji.

The couple’s Brisbane home reportedly remains vacant after movers were seen there last week.

In an explosive post last week, Jules suggested her marriage could not be reconciled following what she described as an “unimaginable betrayal”.

It came after it was reported she and Lachie were “working through” private issues. Jules responded by writing: “I want to make it very clear that I am not ‘working through’ anything. I have been betrayed in the most unimaginable way.

“All I can do now is to heal and do what’s best for my children.”

Adding further distance

Jules, who shares two children with Lachie, may be cutting other ties connected to her husband, with the Herald Sun reporting she has removed the talent agency that represented both her and Lachie from her Instagram page.

She had previously included an email address to management company TGI Sport, in her Instagram bio, the publication said. Now, her bio only has her children’s names and links to her hair studio and childrenswear line.

Jules Neale does not appear among the list of TGI Sport’s talent profiles, while Lachie does.

Country escape

It comes after the other woman embroiled in the Neales’ marriage drama shared bikini-clad photos of a serene Christmas getaway on Friday.

Former friend of the Neales’, Tess Crosley, is seen lounging by the pool and enjoying sweeping hinterland views from a private estate in Northern NSW in a gallery of photos posted to Instagram.

Interestingly, Crosley shared the snaps alongside the song Burn, Burn, Burn by Zach Bryan, which talks about reconnecting with the simple things in life and living authentically with few but genuine friendships.

Lyrics include the line: “My exes hate me and my friends all miss me, I wanna drown in rot gut whiskey, leave this small town for awhile.”

Crosley’s husband Ben, whom she married in 2017, does not appear in any of the images. Her wedding ring also appears to be absent.

Jules and Crosley no longer follow each other on social media, with a recent post suggesting they are not on speaking terms.

In a since-deleted comment, Jules told Crosley to delete photos on Instagram that showed her with two-time Brownlow Medallist Lachie following his team’s grand final win.

“Take these (pictures) down, you idiot you’re embarrassing yourself,’’ Jules wrote.

While that comment is no longer there, the pictures of the Neales, Crosley and her husband Ben after the Lions’ grand final win, remain on Crosley’s Instagram.

There is no suggestion of wrongdoing on Crosley’s part.

Crosley, Lachie and the Brisbane Lions are all yet to make a public comment.
