It was a terrific fourth Sunday for Dhurandhar as a massive Rs. 24.30 crores came in. This has never ever happened before and when such a number would have been considered quite good for majority of movies on their first Sunday in 2025, this has happened on the fourth Sunday, which is basically its 24th day! This just goes on to show the monster that the film has become at the box office.
To think of it, there is still more to come as the Wednesday onwards the collections will start seeing a spike all over again due to New Year period. Even between today and Wednesday, more than Rs. 30 crores will come in and then there would be a period of upswing right till Sunday which means close to Rs. 50 crores more on the cards before the world gets back to normalcy from next Monday onwards.
This time period would be enough for the Aditya Dhar film to enter the Rs. 800 Crore Club and then accumulate enough to ensure that countdown towards Rs. 900 crores mark can begin as well. The film will certainly reach there as it will continue to enjoy very good showcasing for itself right till the arrival of Border 2 and by then it would have firmly reaffirmed its All Time Mega Blockbuster status. So far, the Ranveer Singh led ensemble affair has collected Rs. 730.70 crores and by tomorrow it will go past the Rs. 750 crores milestone with ease.
