Cole Haan kicks off the year with its GrandPrø Tennis 2.0 court sneaker, with its FeatherFeel Cushioning Platform and lightweight build.
The minimalist approach to the new shoe continues what Cole Haan first did 10 years ago when it introduced the original GrandPrø Tennis.
‘GrandPrø Tennis was a breakthrough for us 10 years ago. It proved that a classic court sneaker could be unbelievably light and comfortable without losing its style or substance. With GrandPrø Tennis 2.0, we’ve taken that idea even further. It’s more streamlined and engineered to feel unthinkably light and incredibly easy to wear,’ said Scott Patt, chief creative officer at Cole Haan.
The FeatherFeel Cushioning Platform is the brand’s lightest cushioning platform with a rebalanced foam density, with what Cole Haan promises to be lighter but with the same durability and traction of a full rubber outsole.
To commemorate the 10-year anniversary, the first drop of GrandPrøTennis 2.0 is in classic white leather with limited-edition branding. Other colour-ways follow in ivory, gold and black.
Retail prices land between US$150 and US$170 and the shoes officially went on sale on December 31 exclusively at colehaan.com and select Cole Haan stores globally. Other retail partners will begin stocking the shoes from February, and additional colour-ways appear in March.
