Congratulations are in order for sporting couple Tippah Dwan and Josh Dunkley.
The netballer and AFL player have announced their engagement with a short and sweet joint Instagram post.
They simply shared two photos of themselves with Dwan’s left hand in a prominent position wearing a stunning ring.
“Little update,” was all the caption said, along with a white heart emoji.
Friends and family showered the couple with well wishes in the comment section.
“Ahhhhh congratulations,” fellow netballer, Sunshine Coast Lightning player, Lizzy Watson said.
“Omg so happy for you Tip,” Giants netball player Matilda McDonell wrote.

Dwan, 26, plays netball for the Queensland Firebirds, while Dunkley, 29, plays AFL for the Brisbane Lions.
Dunkley’s sister Lara, who also plays for the Queensland Firebirds, is responsible for the couple meeting five years ago when the former Western Bulldogs player was in Queensland for football.
“I thought he was very beautiful but I could also tell he was a lovely boy from the get-go,” Dwan previously told News Corp.

Meanwhile, Dunkley felt like Dwan was “the one” after only a few months.
Dunkley and Dwan’s relationship was long distance for a couple of years with the athletes then based in different states and restricted from catching up because of Covid lockdowns.
They made do with brief trips to see each other and sending gifts and letters.
“Living in different cities we would do anything to see each other whenever we got the opportunity. Even if it was for only a short time, we would make it work to see each other,” Dwan said.

Dwan moved to Adelaide to play for the Thunderbirds in 2022 and 2023 but returned to the Queensland Firebirds in 2024 to be closer to Dunkley who joined the Brisbane Lions in 2022.
In 2024 the couple hired former The Block contestants Leah and Ash to renovate their master bedroom at their Paddington property in Queensland.
Leah and Ash shared a look inside the couple’s revamped home on Instagram revealing they transformed the master from two small bedrooms into a stunning space with a walk in wardrobe off to one side, an ensuite and direct access to their veranda through French doors.
