Skenes’ girlfriend, former LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne, reacted to his clean-shaven look on TikTok.
The right-hander is coming off another dominant year on the mound in 2025, earning National League Cy Young Award recognition.
Skenes finished with a 10-10 record in 32 starts while boasting a 1.97 ERA and 0.948 WHIP. He amassed 216 strikeouts compared to just 42 walks in 187.2 innings of work.
Skenes has earned All-Star honors in each of his first two seasons with the Pirates, starting the 2025 All-Star Game.
As he prepares for another year headlining Pittsburgh’s rotation, he could debut a new look for the 2026 season.
