SINGAPORE- One of the World’s best carriers, Singapore Airlines (SQ), has confirmed a new series of network updates for the Northern Summer 2026 season. Key routes include Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (BKK), Beijing Capital (PEK), Beijing Daxing (PKX), Dubai (DXB), Hong Kong (HKG), Rome Fiumicino (FCO), Auckland (AKL), Amsterdam (AMS), and London Heathrow (LHR).

The airline will adjust aircraft types, increase or reduce service frequencies on selected routes, and temporarily suspend flights during specified periods. Further Updates also cover destinations such as Delhi (DEL), Dhaka (DAC), Mumbai (BOM), Kochi (COK), Taipei Taoyuan (TPE), Tokyo Haneda (HND), Cairns (CNS), Melbourne (MEL), and Shanghai Pudong (PVG).

Singapore Airlines Summer 2026 Changes

Singapore Airlines is standardising capacity on several regional routes as flagged by Aeroroutes.

From 1 July 2026, all six daily Singapore (SIN) to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (BKK) services will operate with the Boeing 787-10.

On the Singapore (SIN) to Beijing Capital (PEK) route, services SQ800 and SQ805 will be suspended from 11 May to 29 May 2026.

From 7 July to 16 August 2026, these flights will switch from the Airbus A350-900 to the Boeing 777-300ER. Services SQ802 and SQ807 on the same route will be suspended between 6 July and 16 August 2026.

Flights between Singapore (SIN) and Beijing Daxing (PKX) will be suspended from 17 August to 25 September 2026.

Services to Cairns (CNS) will increase from four to five weekly between 7 July and 22 September 2026 using the Airbus A350-900.

On the Delhi (DEL) route, SQ406 and SQ405 will be operated by the Boeing 777-300ER instead of the Airbus A380 from 21 June to 25 July 2026 as part of seasonal adjustments.

Services to Dhaka (DAC) will increase from ten to fourteen weekly flights from 1 July 2026. Flight pair SQ448 and SQ449 will move from three weekly Airbus A350-900 services to a daily Boeing 737 MAX 8.

Dubai (DXB) will be upgraded to a daily Airbus A380 service from 29 March 2026.

Additional Frequency and Aircraft Updates

Flights to Kochi (COK) will reduce from fourteen to ten weekly from 1 July 2026, except during 24 August to 3 September 2026, and will operate with the Boeing 737 MAX 8.

The Mumbai (BOM) route will see SQ424 and SQ423 switch from the Airbus A380 to the Boeing 777-300ER from 26 July to 29 August 2026.

Rome Fiumicino (FCO) flights will increase from four to five weekly from 25 June 2026 using the Airbus A350-900.

Previous Schedule Changes Reported by Aeroroutes

From 1 July 2026, Amsterdam (AMS) flights will move to the Boeing 777-300ER, while Auckland (AKL) will see the same aircraft type from 1 May 2026.

From 21 June to 25 July 2026, Hong Kong (HKG) service SQ892 and SQ893 will operate with the Airbus A380.

London Heathrow (LHR) flights SQ306 and SQ305 will switch to the Airbus A350-900 from 1 July 2026.

Melbourne (MEL) will retain Airbus A350-900 service on SQ217 and SQ218 through 30 August 2026.

From 1 May 2026, Shanghai Pudong (PVG) service SQ830 and SQ833 will use the Airbus A380.

Taipei Taoyuan (TPE) flights will increase from fourteen to eighteen weekly between 29 March and 31 May 2026.

Tokyo Haneda (HND) will see aircraft swaps on selected services between 6 July and mid-August 2026.
