Charges are pending against Lenny Dykstra.

PIKE COUNTY, Pa. — A former Major League Baseball player was found with drugs in Pike County, according to state police.

Troopers stopped a pickup truck along Route 507 in Green Township around midnight on Thursday.

During the traffic stop, authorities say the passenger, Lenny Dykstra, 62, was found with drugs and drug-related paraphernalia.

Dykstra was a former center fielder for the Philadelphia Phillies in the 1990s and won a World Series championship with the New York Mets in 1986.
