A manhunt is under way after a man was left seriously injured in a brutal kidnapping in Sydney’s west.

Authorities were called to a car park on Woodville Road in Villawood about 6.50am today and arrived to find a 29-year-old man with stab wounds in the back of a Toyota sedan.

He was then tied up and put in the back of the Camry.

A woman who heard the man’s screams found him and called triple zero.

He was put on a stretcher and taken to hospital in a serious condition, but he has since stabilised.

The offenders still have not been located 

A crime scene has been established and an investigation is ongoing.

The Camry has been taken for forensic testing. Police are investigating whether the incident is linked to Sydney’s underworld.
