No. 8 OU (14-1, 2-0 SEC) earned a 95-47 victory over Mississippi State (14-2, 1-1 SEC) in a balanced effort.
In the Sooners’ win, three different players recorded a double-double: junior forward Sahara Williams (12 points, 11 rebounds), senior center Raegan Beers (15 points, 11 rebounds) and sophomore guard Zya Vann (16 points, 11 rebounds). This marks the 13th time in program history that three different Sooners have each recorded a double-double in the same game and the second this season. OU put up a stellar performance defensively as well, holding Mississippi State to a season-low 20% from the field, as well as a season low in total points scored. OU has now held its first two 2025-26 conference opponents to under 30% from the field after Texas A&M shot 26% in a 72-50 loss to the Sooners. This also marks the sixth time the Sooners have held an opponent to 50 points or fewer this season.
Next, the Sooners will take on No. 15 Mississippi at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Lloyd Noble Center on SECN+.
