Final 2025 FCS Top 25 Polls Include Four Teams From CAA Football

RICHMOND, Va. (January 7, 2026) – The final 2025 FCS Top 25 polls were released on Tuesday and included four CAA Football teams ranked by Stats Perform and three by the AFCA.

Villanova (12-3) jumped to No. 4 in both the Stats Perform and AFCA polls after advancing to the semifinals of the FCS playoffs for the first time since 2010. The Wildcats defeated Harvard, Lehigh and Tarleton State before falling to Illinois State.

Rhode Island (11-3) was ranked No. 10 by the AFCA and No. 11 by Stats Perform. The Rams beat Central Connecticut State to reach the second round of the FCS playoffs for the second year in a row before dropping a road contest at UC Davis.

Monmouth (9-3) finished at No. 20 in the AFCA poll and No. 22 in the Stats Perform poll. The Hawks posted their most regular season wins since 2019 but didn’t receive a playoff berth.

New Hampshire (8-5) was ranked No. 23 by Stats Perform and was the top team receiving votes in the AFCA poll. The Wildcats earned an FCS playoff berth for the third time in the past four seasons but fell at South Dakota State in the first round.
