7-Eleven Australia has announced a long-term athlete partnership with Australian rally rider Daniel Sanders.
The partnership was announced while Sanders is currently racing in the 2026 Dakar Rally.
The agreement positions the 2025 Dakar Rally winner as an ongoing ambassador for the brand, with the partnership set to extend across content and activations that reflect the realities of Australian driving culture and endurance sport.
The partnership connects to 7-Eleven Australia’s long-standing relationship with Mobil, whose fuels are developed and tested in extreme motorsport environments.
“This partnership is about backing performance over time, not just showing up for a single logo moment,” 7-Eleven Australia chief commercial officer Matt Keogh said.
“Daniel represents endurance, preparation and resilience, qualities that resonate with how Australians fuel up and keep moving, whether they’re crossing the country, racing across continents or simply heading out at dawn to manage the family orchard,” Keogh added.
Sanders’ story, spanning elite motorsport and life on a family apple farm in regional Victoria, is also the subject of a recently released documentary, encompassing the everyday realities behind his career.
“Dakar is one of the hardest things you can do in motorsport, but it’s just one chapter in a much bigger journey,” Sanders said.
“Whether I’m prepping for desert stages or out on the farm before sunrise, having partners who understand endurance, preparation and everyday logistics makes all the difference,” he added.
The collaboration is designed for the long term, with further storytelling, appearances and initiatives planned beyond the race, following Sanders on and off the track.
