Conor McGregor has made a bizarre call out.
He cheekily suggested the idea to lock horns with Floyd Mayweather at the historic UFC White House event in June. The Irish fighter is also ready to fight Michael Chandler the same night.
The unexpected outreach appears to be sarcastic, but the UFC is full of surprises so expect the unexpected.
Both fighters last faced each other in 2017 for an iconic boxing collision that sold 4.3 million PPVs and generated about $600 million dollars in revenue.
Floyd Mayweather is not interested in participating in an MMA match owing to obvious reasons. He’s not to thrilled about the risk to reward ratio and feels that money is made easier in the realm of boxing while facing lesser damage.
However, a rematch between him and McGregor would definitely break the internet and it will be interesting to see if UFC can surprise all fans worldwide.
Conor McGregor Calls Out Floyd Mayweather
In a recent tweet, McGregor cheekily took the time to call out his former foe Floyd Mayweather.
“Fun times @danawhite, @ufc! @FloydMayweather, when you are ready for that promised MMA bout, I am here. The White House is nice in the summer I heard. Just kidding Mike! Although I could fight both the same night. Floyd MMA? EASY. 10 seconds”.
