Goodbye UFC Fight Pass, hello … VICE TV?

The first card on its new platform will be LFA 224 on Fri., Jan. 16, 2026, in Prior Lake, Minnesota. The event will be headlined by Matt Adams vs. Arslan Bilalov for the vacant LFA Heavyweight title. One week later, LFA heads to Brazil for LFA 225 on Jan. 23, featuring an interim Flyweight title fight between Marcos Degli and Luis Aguiar.

“We are excited to announce an exciting new partnership with VICE TV,” LFA CEO Ed Soares wrote in a press release. “The LFA’s mission has always been to showcase the sport’s top up-and-coming fighters in front of the widest audience possible. VICE has built a loyal audience that values authenticity and unfiltered, ground-level storytelling. Together, we will bring the untold stories of athletes shaping the future of the sport to a national television audience.”

While some fans may question leaving UFC Fight Pass due to its established MMA audience, Soares believes the move will significantly increase LFA’s reach.

“Before, UFC Fight Pass distributed our events worldwide through their platform,” Soares told Sherdog. “Now, we’re negotiating distribution in over 200 markets. In the U.S., VICE TV will bring LFA into 45 million homes. When you combine TV and streaming, we expect at least five times the audience.”

In markets without finalized broadcast partners — including Brazil — LFA events will stream on the promotion’s official YouTube channel.
