NEWCASTLE THUNDER have signed French fullback Maxime Rostang from Albi and forward Harvey Reynolds from York Knights.

Both have enjoyed recent success, with Rostang a regular in Albi’s 2024-25 Super XIII title-winning season and Reynolds contributing to York’s Championship League Leaders’ Shield success last year.

Rostang, 20, scored a try in France’s academy international win over England in July 2024.

Reynolds, 21, played 23 times for York over the past two seasons and appeared twice on loan at Newcastle during the 2024 campaign.

Thunder’s tally of signings is up to 12, six of them coming directly from the Knights who are now close partners with the north-east side.
