Chapel Hill 67, Cumberland 14

Rylee Steele and Chyna Golden Mass hit in double figures in leading the Chapel Hill Lady Bulldogs to a 67-14 win over the Cumberland Lady Knights on Friday in Tyler.

The victory moved Chapel Hill to 20-5 and 5-0 in District 16-4A. The Lady Knights fall to 4-16 and 0-5.

Steele had 16 points and three steals with Golden Mass adding 19 points and four rebounds. Other contributors for CH were Dinya Griffin (8 points, 5 rebounds) and Naviyah Bush (8 points, 8 rebounds).

Cumberland is scheduled to visit Carthage on Tuesday and Chapel Hill visits Gilmer.

Whitehouse 47, Mount Pleasant 26

MOUNT PLEASANT — The Whitehouse LadyCats moved to 28-0 on the season and 8-0 in District 10-5A basketball with a 47-26 win over Mount Pleasant on Friday.

Indeya Williams led the LadyCats with 22 points while adding four steals. Freshman Silina Kadi had seven points, five steals and eight rebounds. Khole Allen contributed eight points and nine rebounds.

The Lady Tigers fell to 10-7 and 5-3.

Mount Pleasant plays host to Nacogdoches on Tuesday and Whitehouse visits Marshall. 

Bullard 77, Rusk 17

BULLARD — Aariyah Campbell hit for 21 points in helping the Bullard Lady Panthers to a 77-17 win over Rusk on Friday in a District 17-4A game.

The Lady Panthers improved to 14-10 overall and 1-0 in district. Rusk falls to 1-18 and 0-1.

Lila Robertson added 15 points for Bullard with Savanna Lewis adding 14.

Others scoring for the Lady Panthers were Braelynn Wildt (8), Kryslyn Hertel (8), KK Mercer (2), Reese Rittenoure (2), Adalynn Alexander (2), Julie Guidry (2), Avery Whitehead (2) and Olivia Patrick (1).

Johannah McDonald led the Lady Eagles with six points, followed by Jakaiyah Jenkins (4), Madison Lopez (3), Triniti Small (2) and Breniyah Scott (2).

Bullard visits Hudson on Tuesday.

Brownsboro 79, Kemp 1

KEMP — The Brownsboro Bearettes allowed one point in the third quarter on the way to a 79-1 win over Kemp on Friday in a District 15-4A girls basketball game.

The Bearettes moved to 21-6 on the season and 3-2 in district. The Lady Jackets fall to 0-16 and 0-3.

Chyann Stidham had 26 points for Brownsboro. Riley Smith added 16, Sadie Piper 15, Ava Johnson six, Kynsie Daniels 11, Aniya Shead four and Sarah Hughes one.
Makeira Miller had the lone point for Kemp.

Brownsboro plays host to Athens at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

LaPoynor 57, Cross Roads 21

LaRUE — Savannah Reynolds scored 23 points to help the LaPoynor Flyerettes to a 57-21 win over Cross Roads on Friday in a District 19-2A girls basketball game.

LaPoynor is 14-11 and 1-3 while the Lady Bobcats are 1-18 and 0-4.

Others scoring for the Flyerettes were Emma Scott (10), Ashley Thaw (7), Sophia Ramsey (6), Leila Welch (5), Haidyn Vandam (4) and Shaniyah Felder (2).

LaPoynor visits Frankston on Tuesday. Cross Roads plays host to Alba-Golden on Tuesday.

Troup 66, West Rusk 26

TROUP — Jakeira Davis led a balanced Troup scoring attack with 21 points as the Lady Tigers earned a 66-26 win over Arp.
Hannah Cearley had 19 points for Troup. Qhenja Jordan added 16, Arielle Gordon six and Cassie Murrey and Paisley Skinner two each.
Kamiyah Lacy had eight points in the loss for West Rusk.

Longview 75, Rockwall-Heath 39 

LONGVIEW — Jailiya Rockmore, Bethany Baltes and Maya Ward all scored in double figures for Longview as the Lady Lobos improved to 16-4 overall and 2-2 in District 10-6A play with a 75-39 win over Rockwall-Heath at Lobo Coliseum.
Rockmore led the way with 19 points. Baltes had 15, Ward 11, Kennedy Bailey and Destiny Vories six apiece, Kaydence Porter five, Reid Robertson four, Markayla Haynes three and Kam Holmes, Ashtyn McCray and Terri Sparkman two each.
Porter had 10 rebounds, Rockmore five and Sparkman four. Ward led with five assists, and Robertson and Sparkman had two steals apiece.
Longview led 24-6 after one quarter and 35-16 at halftime, extending the lead to 57-27 by doubling up (22-11) on Heath in the third period.

The Lady Hawks fell to 11-14 and 0-4.
The Lady Lobos visit North Forney on Tuesday. 

TATUM 60, GLADEWATER 48 

McKenley Mack scored 17 points, Jaiyana Bishop and Emma Dygert added 11 apiece for Tatum and the Lady Eagles moved to 12-11 overall and 3-1 in district play with a 60-48 win over Gladewater.Mack also had seven rebounds and two assists, Dygert four assists, five rebounds and four steals and Bishop four assists, eight rebounds and two steals. Addyson Saunders just missed a double-double with nine points, 12 rebounds and three blocks. Brynn Downs scored seven points and added two rebounds and two steals. Kyndal Greenwood finished with five points, six assists, four rebounds and four steals. Aaliyah Williams added five assists and two rebounds, and Jamyah Butler had an assist and a rebound.

Union Grove 67, Big Sandy 23

The Union Grove Lady Lions opened up a 40-12 halftime lead on the way to a 67-23 win over Big Sandy on Friday.

Shaniya Roland and Aubree Coulter both scored 15 points for Union Grove. Mallorie Cannon added 11, Chloe Hector and Landri Sirmans added nine apiece and Rachel Potter rounded out the scoring with eight.

Union Grove improves to 20-2 overall and 3-1 in district play with the win.
