LIV Golf Promotions offered a great deal of drama in Rd. 2, with many players hovering around the 1-under cutline at day’s end on Friday.
Ultimately, 22 players advanced to the 36-hole shootout set to commence over the weekend with three LIV Golf spots for 2026 up for grabs.
Here are the Power Rankings for the remaining players in the field:
1. Anthony Kim: I can’t help but feel that Kim nabbing one of the three spots has a ring of destiny to it.
2. Jazz Janewattananond: The Thai has been playing some fantastic golf since since September, and that’s continued this week.
3. Travis Smyth: Smyth has experience both on LIV Golf and in LIV Golf Promotions. He won’t shy away from the moment.
4. Miguel Tabuena: Tabuena was agonizingly close to earning a Wild Card spot with his 2025 International Series ranking, and he’ll be a man on a mission to not let a second opportunity slip away.
5. Lucas Bjerregaard: The Dane’s pedigree is unquestionable. Before the event began, Bjerregaard said, “These last few years, it’s been very much either I’m on or it’s been pretty poor.” He’s on this week.
