Toyota and Subaru will continue their efforts in the upcoming ADAC Ravenol 24H Nürburgring on 16/17 May, entering cars competing for class honours beneath the SP9 (GT3) category.
Last month as part of its 2026 motorsports activities announcement, Toyota Gazoo ROOKIE Racing (TG-RR) confirmed the return of its GR Yaris to the Nürburgring 24H. Toyota Motor Corporation Chairman Akio “Morizo” Toyoda will share driving duties with two-time Super Formula Champion Hiroaki Ishiura, 2019 SUPER GT GT500 Champion Kazuya Oshima, and Daisuke Toyoda, Akio’s son and Senior Vice President of the Toyota Woven City project.
This same quartet of drivers finished 52nd overall in last year’s race, completing 113 laps.

Morizo, Ishiura, Oshima, and the younger Toyoda will also drive the liquid hydrogen-fuelled GR Corolla H2 Concept in the upcoming Eneos Super Taikyu Series Empowered by Bridgestone, also entered by TG-RR.
Toyota’s S-Tai efforts also include the return of the mid-engined GR Yaris M Concept, run by GR Team ORC Field (Yasuhiro Ogura/Masahiro Sasaki/Takamitsu Matsui), and the GR Yaris DAT Racing Concept, run by GR Team SPIRIT (Shunsuke Kohno/Kenta Yamashita/Tokiya Suzuki).

Subaru announced its N24 programme today at the Tokyo Auto Salon, with an improved version of its WRX NBR Challenge car that finished 76th overall and completed 94 laps.
Takuto Iguchi rejoins the Subaru N24 effort for 2026, lining up alongside the returning trio of Carlo Van Dam, Kota Sasaki, and Rintaro Kubo.
Promising more horsepower, refined aerodynamics and an improved anti-lock braking system, Subaru says it not only intends to win the SP4T class, but also to challenge the top cars in the SP8T class, including homologated GT4 cars.
