Agit Kabayel Revives Germany’s Golden Era of Boxing with another impressive KO

OBERHAUSEN, Germany – On a historic night reminiscent of the Klitschko brothers’ cresting peak, undefeated Agit Kabayel successfully defended his WBC Interim Heavyweight title, by hastily defeating Poland’s Damian Knyba via technical knockout in the third round.

The event, featuring impeccable organization by Queensberry, packed the Rudolf Weber Arena with over 14,000 fans, consolidating the resurgence of elite boxing on German soil.

Despite suffering a cut over his right eye in the first round, Kabayel demonstrated his class, patience, persistence and dominance. In the second and third rounds, the local idol unleashed a devastating torrent that forced referee Mark Lyson to stop the fight, due to the severe punishment Knyba was on the receiving end of.

“I’m ready for Usyk,” Kabayel declared after the fight. “I’ve waited a long time for this world title opportunity. Give me the fight, I’m ready.” With this victory, Kabayel improves his record to 27-0 (19 KOs). The fight supervisor was WBC Vice President, Houcine Houichi.
