Hapoel Tel Aviv is gearing up for its Euroleague debut by organizing a friendly tournament in Bulgaria from September 8 to 9 in Botevgrad.

Hapoel Tel Aviv will face hosts Balkan and Hungarian side Falco in this preparatory event. Bulgaria will serve as Hapoel’s base throughout the season, while home games will be played in Samokov. The training camp will start in Belgrade, where the team will begin preparations before moving to Bulgaria.

Due to security concerns in Israel, Hapoel chose Samokov Arena, with a capacity of 2,500 seats, as their home venue. Players will be based in Sofia during the season and travel to Samokov for games, easing logistics and reducing fatigue during the demanding schedule.

After winning the EuroCup last season, Hapoel secured a spot in Europe’s premier competition. The squad has been strengthened by signing experienced players like former NBA champion Vasilije Micic and NBA-experienced Tyler Ennis, boosting the team’s ambitions to compete with Europe’s elite.
