Sonia Kruger has revealed how it would feel to win the Gold Logie for a second time – and exactly what she plans to do after the presigious awards show wraps for 2025.

Speaking to SkyNews.com.au from The Star Sydney red carpet on Sunday night, the 59-year-old said it was “always such an amazing feeling” to be nominated for a Logie.

The mother-of-one is nominated for a Gold Logie as one of the Most Popular Personalitys on Australian Television – having previously won in 2023.

“I really wasn’t expecting it this year at all,” said the Dancing with the Stars host. “It was a lovely, lovely bonus really,” she said, before conceding it “would be crazy” if she did take home the top gong again.

Asked about the secret of her success and her advice for young presenters, she advised them to “learn every aspect of the business”.

“[They should learn about] writing, editing, shooting… the promotional side of it – all of it.”

When asked what her plans were should she win the award again, Sonia hinted an early night was on the cards.

“Tonight? No, because it’ll be midnight [when the show wraps].”

Her fellow Seven star Larry Emdur took home the top prize in 2024.
