Nicole Kidman’s Hollywood friends, including Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Sandra Bullock, have rallied around the Oscar-winning actress after her divorce from Keith Urban was finalised last week.

According to reports, the A-listers are planning on throwing the Big Little Lies star a “divorce party” now that she is back in the US after spending Christmas with her family in Australia.

The actresses are reportedly making the grand gesture in a bid to show Kidman “she has a rock-solid circle of loyal friends” in Hollywood.

Kidman and Urban, both 58, confirmed the end of their 19-year marriage in September, with the actress filing for divorce citing irreconcilable differences.

They share two daughters: Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15.

“Nicole’s divorce came as a shock to everyone but a small few in her circle, and it’s those close friends who are planning on cheering her up while she’s in town working red carpets,” a source told New Idea.

“She’s gone through a lot, and there are a lot of close friends who haven’t yet seen her in person since the split.

“Everyone wants her to know she has a rock-solid circle of loyal friends in LA.”

Meanwhile, Urban is believed to have been leaning on country stars Blake Shelton and Garth Brooks after spending his first Christmas without Kidman and their children.

Friends reportedly shared their concerns for the Blue Ain’t Your Colour singer amid claims he is “not doing well” and is “completely lost” without his family.

“Keith doesn’t know where home is anymore,” a source claimed to the aforementioned publication.

“He’s focusing on work, and that keeps him in Nashville, but this is a guy born in New Zealand who grew up in Australia and raised a family in [the] US – he’s totally lost without any navigational device.”

Neither Kidman nor Urban have spoken publicly about their marriage breakdown, but Kidman seemingly alluded to it during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar in November.

“There’s something to knowing that no matter how painful, or how difficult, or how devastating something is, there is a way through,” she said.

“You’re going to have to feel it. You’re not going to be able to numb it.

“You are going to have to feel it, and it’s going to feel insurmountable at times. You’re going to feel like you’re broken, but if you move gently and slowly – and it can take an enormous amount of time – it does pass.”

This is Kidman’s second divorce following her split from Tom Cruise in 2001.
