MATT Stone Racing has made a key appointment ahead of the 2026 Repco Supercars Championship, hiring Nick Testu as its head of commercial.
Testu brings plenty of experience, having spent eight years at Dick Johnson Racing before a more recent stint with Viva Energy Australia as a sponsorship specialist.
Coincidentally, DJR has just appointed former Viva executive general manager (consumer) Megan Foster as its new CEO.
MSR heads into the new season with Bendix continuing as the naming rights backer on the #10 Camaro of Zach Bates, while Tyrepower has been confirmed to be following Jack Le Brocq as a major sponsor.
“It’s an exciting time of growth at Matt Stone Racing, and I’m excited to join the team at the start of this new chapter,” Testu told V8 Sleuth.
“Matt and his team have done an amazing job consistently punching above their weight thanks to their passion, effort and expertise.
“The Stone surname is iconic in Australian motor racing, but we’re not looking in the rearview mirror.
“Matt clearly wants to take the team to the next level and win the biggest trophies.
“I really believe we have a fantastic platform to build on: a great group of people here at HQ, very loyal and committed commercial partners, and a passionate fanbase. I can’t wait to get stuck in.”
Testu adds to a hierarchy led by Matt Stone himself, with Paul Forgie the team’s technical coordinator and Jack Bellotti head of engineering.
In addition to its main game efforts, MSR is returning to Super2 this year with Ayrton Hodson locked in and potentially further announcements to come.
