The National Football League has tapped three San Francisco-based brands to create product for its Origins collection for the upcoming Super Bowl.
Aaron De La Cruz, Blvck Scvle and Nostalgia have designed exclusive pieces for the fifth edition of Origins: An NFL Collection for Super Bowl LX. The merchandise program is intended to bring the game to life through locally designed, community-driven products.
“Origins: An NFL Collection is about creativity meeting community,” said Ashley Daniel, director of consumer products at the NFL. “At Super Bowl LX, we are celebrating not only football but the stories, cultures and voices that define the San Francisco Bay Area.
“As we enter our fifth year of the program, this collection offers fans an opportunity to proudly showcase their pride for both the NFL and San Francisco, while being part of a bigger movement that is shaping the future of sports fashion” Daniel added.
Aaron De La Cruz is an artist based in San Francisco who is influenced by family, graffiti, skateboard culture and architecture. He is known for his innovative, minimal approach and his work has been featured in museums, private collections and in large-scale public works.
Founded in 2007, Blvck Scvle is a contemporary streetwear brand that creates timeless pieces with a dark romantic aesthetic.
Nostalgia is a culture-driven streetwear label founded by Humbert Lee and Jaden Yo-Eco whose garments cross cultures and generations.

The game will be played on Feb. 8.

The NFL will host a one-day-only pop-up event produced by sports and media intellectual property agency No Caller ID in San Francisco on Feb. 5. The free pop-up will take place at NFL Culture Club at The Pearl, where fans will be invited to shop the collections. For fans outside of San Francisco, select styles from the collection will be sold online at the NFL Shop an each of the brands’ websites.
The Super Bowl will be played on Feb. 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., home of the San Francisco 49ers.
