From Popeye the Slayer Man producer Jeff Miller, the Twisted Serial Killer Universe kicks off with Ted Bunny. No, that’s not a typo.
The trailer below introduces the illegitimate son of serial killer Ted Bundy. Raised around rabbits, the crazed heir goes on a killing spree after a documentary crew shows up at his house.
Terror Films will release the indie slasher on February 13 across multiple digital platforms, including Chilling, Scare Network TV, Kings of Horror, Watch Movies Now, Shocks & Docs, and Terror Film’s AVOD YouTube channel.
Genre legend Dee Wallace (E.T., Cujo) stars alongside Diana Roman, Brad Satterwhite, Trent Avvenire, Zanna Wyatt, and Bryan Palacios as Ted Bundy.
Michael Fredianelli directs from a script he wrote with producer Maralynn Adams.
“The film is a throwback to old school horror with a traditional ’80s style primarily meant to evoke nostalgic thrills,” said Fredianelli. “My goal was to balance an interesting and compelling origin story that ties into real-life horror, while maintaining the slasher spirit of crazy kills, idiots in the woods, and awful characters ultimately getting exactly what they deserve.”
Ted Bunny is a co-production between Millman Productions, Wild Dogs Productions, and Ron Lee Productions.
Miller’s Twisted Serial Killer Universe will continue in Jeffrey Dollmer, expected out later this year.
