Mirela Vidic, 40, and Mark Smith, 35
Mirela and Mark got engaged at the Ritz Carlton with a flower display, champagne, and their son Theo.
They celebrated Mirela saying “yes” with family and friends and the Songbird Bar afterwards.
When it came to their wedding day, a sweet moment saw Mirela walking down the aisle with her father, with Theo as the ring bearer.
To honour Mirela’s Serbian heritage, their first dance was a traditional one called the Kolo, and their guests were surprised but delighted.
As Mark was making his final speech, a firework show erupted on the Swan River behind him, making it even more magical.

The ceremony took place on December 20, 2025, at Queens Gardens in Perth, followed by a reception at Fraser’s Kings Park.

The newlyweds will be embarking on a honeymoon to their respective places of birth — England and Serbia.
