Oppo Reno15 Pro (mini) looks familiar with that all-flat design, and it gives away iPhone vibes with its similar camera arrangement. Surely, Apple did not invent either; it just made them popular, but the comparison is inevitable.
Anyway, the Reno15 Pro (mini) has glass panels and a flat aluminum frame with matte finish. The screen is protected by a Gorilla Glass 7i sheet, while the matte rear glass has not been specified.
The Reno15 Pro (mini) is IP68 and IP69 rated for dust, water, and pressurized water jets resistance. There is no mention of further drop-proofing enhancements.
The Reno15 Pro (mini) is available in Dusk Brown, Aurora Blue, Glacier White (only the mini version). We have the dusk brown version that is almost like space gray, but we’ve also handled the white one, too.
The brown model has an all matte finish – both frame and back, making it silky smooth and rather smudge resistant. The phone is incredibly slippery, though.
Then there is the white model with a glossy back panel and matte frame. It is more experimental with an incorporated glittering ribbon inside the rear glass, while the frame is not white but more like silver-gold. This white version has more grip because of physics (rough matte provides less contact area than a completely flat glossy surface).
Whether you get the grippy white or the slippery brown model, because of its compact and lightweight body, it would feel rather secure and comfortable in your hand. And if it doesn’t, you can always use the bundled protective case.
Now, let’s take a closer look at the Reno15 Pro (mini).
The front is all about the 6.32-inch AMOLED screen. The panel has 460ppi density, 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color depth and incredibly thin bezels.
There is one small cutout for a promising 50MP AF selfie camera.
Above the screen is an almost invisible earpiece, which together with its secondary top-facing outlet acts as a stereo speaker.
The Reno15 Pro (mini) features an optical fingerprint scanner. It’s an always-on sensor (when the screen is off), works fast, and its scans are accurate and reliable.
The back is all flat with a familiar-looking camera housing. There are no interruptions here; the housing is part of the back panel, and the whole thing is one element.
The arrangement is similar to the iPhone 16 Pro models – a triangular camera position and the LED camera at the top right corner. There is no LiDAR here, though.
The sides of the Reno15 Pro (mini) are flat and the phone can stand in an upright position on its own.
The top has an IR blaster and one microphone. The top speaker secondary outlet is also here.
The bottom has the other stereo speaker, the USB-C port, and the dual-SIM tray. The primary microphone is here as well.
Finally, the volume and power/lock keys are on the right, large and with enough travel for a good click.
The Oppo Reno15 Pro (mini) measures 151.2 x 72.4 x 8 mm, which is about as large as the iPhone 17 Pro. But the Reno weighs 187g, about 20g lighter, which is quite impressive.

Overall, the Oppo Reno15 Pro (mini) is a very well-built smartphone with premium even if familiar design, good enough grip, lightweight body, and easy to love size.
