Jing Hua is a 56-year-old female who presents with a rash on her palms and soles. The rash appeared on her palmar creases and the medial sole of both feet six weeks prior.

It is scaly with painful fissures and associated pruritus. Jing Hua is otherwise well, with no systemic symptoms.

She initially saw another practitioner and was diagnosed with a fungal infection.

As advised at the time, she commenced treatment with a topical combination of an antifungal and corticosteroid cream, which she used for two weeks with some improvement. However, days after ceasing the cream, the rash worsened.
