Max Verstappen finally knows who will feature in the main positions on his side of the Red Bull garage this season, following several key departures.
Towards the end of last year, it was announced that three members of the Dutchman’s team would leave.
According to De Telegraaf, Verstappen’s control engineer, Michael Manning, who departed following the conclusion of the 2025 campaign, has been replaced by Geoff Ayton.
Ayton previously worked with Verstappen’s teammates, but did briefly work with the four-time world champion last year when Manning was absent.
Verstappen’s former engine engineer, David Mart, has moved to Audi and will be replaced by a yet-to-be-named member of Red Bull’s engine department.
Performance engineer Tom Hart is also set to leave to join Williams, but will continue working for the Milton Keynes-based outfit for the time being.
The 28-year-old also knows his new first mechanic, following Matt Caller’s move to become chief mechanic at Audi.
The position has remained within the Caller family, with Jon Caller—Matt’s twin brother—taking over the role.
It is a familiar face for Verstappen, with Jon having previously served as first mechanic on the other side of the Red Bull garage for Sergio Perez, Liam Lawson, and Yuki Tsunoda.
Despite mixed reports over the winter break, Gianpiero Lambiase will remain as Verstappen’s race engineer for another season.
