Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reconnected with old PR representatives, following the resignation of their most recent publicist.

The pair will once again be working with Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis (SSML), the public relations firm behind Hollywood heavyweights Leonardo DiCaprio and Jimmy Fallon.

They will be working in conjunction with their internal communications team in the UK and Europe, spearheaded by director Liam Maguire.

The firm first represented Meghan during the height of her Suits days, also partnering with her and Prince Harry on various projects over the years.

Co-president of the firm, Keleigh Thomas Morgan, even attended the pair’s wedding ceremony in 2018.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have notoriously struggled to retain publicists since their royal departure for American shores in 2020.

In December last year, the pair’s 11th publicist resigned following their debacle at Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party.

The Sussexes faced online criticism after they were featured in pictures posted of the ostentatious bash, held at Jeff Bezo’s $175 Million Beverly Hills mansion.

They were reportedly averse to the photos of them mingling with Hollywood A-listers being posted, wishing to avoid drawing the ire of the royal family amid rumoured efforts to reconcile.

Page Six reported that the pair’s now ex-publicist Meredith Maine requested that the Kardashians remove all photos that included the Duke and Duchess.

This allegedly proved the final straw for Maine, who resigned not long after.

In a statement to Us Magazine in December, Maine said “After a year of inspiring work with Prince Harry and Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Archewell, I will be pursuing a new opportunity in 2026.

“I have the utmost gratitude and respect for the couple and the team, and the good work they are doing in the world.”

The Duke and Duchess have also cut ties with Method Communications.

“Meredith Maines and Method Communications have concluded their work with Archewell. The Duke and Duchess are grateful for their contributions and wish them well,” a spokesman for the couple told the outlet.

And she is just the latest departure amid high staff turnover in recent times.

Just last month, Executive Director of Archewell Philanthropies James Holt announced his resignation from the company, following the axing of multiple senior staffers from the pair’s foundation.

“The move toward a philanthropic fiscal sponsor operating model does mean that some staff redundancies are inevitable, particularly with junior admin roles,” a spokesperson said, per Daily Express.
