The Los Angeles Lakers‘ superstar isn’t even most highly regarded for his scoring, but he’s also the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, and those numbers just keep going up.
For those who like round numbers, how’s 51,000 sound?
James has now surpassed that point total when you combine his regular season and playoff points.
As usual, he’s the first player in NBA history to reach that mark.
It took 24 points on Sunday from James to make that history and to come from behind to beat the Toronto Raptors.
Part of the key for LeBron of late? Free throws.
He started the season miserably at the line. But since the calendar flipped to 2026, James is 53-for-59 from the charity stripe.

The G.O.A.T. debate will never have one true winner. But on some levels, James is unmatched.
