Meadow Walker, the daughter of late actor Paul Walker and Rebecca Soteros, took a moment on July 18 to pay tribute to her father’s close friend and her godfather, Vin Diesel, on his birthday.
As Diesel turned 58, Meadow shared a photo of herself and the actor at the Fast X premiere in 2023 in Rome, Italy, writing the simple yet sweet message, “Happy birthday to you ❤️.” In the snap, Meadow posed for the camera, looking chic and elegant, while Diesel stood beside her with a beaming smile. Diesel responded to the tribute in the comments, replying, “❤️.”
Meadow wrote a longer message about her relationship with the Fast and Furious star on her Instagram Stories, saying, “Happy birthday to my godfather and someone who has been my partner in crime for many years. Someone who has been my confidant and I’ve been his. I love you. @vindiesel Forever.”

Diesel opened up about his relationship with Meadow while speaking with Extra in 2021, saying, “She takes good care of me… She’s the first person on Father’s Day to wish me Happy Father’s Day… I feel very protective.” The two appear to still be very close.
