Kim Kardashian’s latest Instagram post features snapshots of herself from the 1990s.

In two never-before-seen photos, Kardashian bears a striking resemblance to her eldest daughter, North.
North West clearly got the fashion bug from her mom, Kim Kardashian. On Tuesday, the Skims mogul shared a set of never-before-seen photos from her youth, in which she strikingly resembles her 12-year-old daughter.
“1991 Cabo San Lucas,” Kardashian captioned her new Instagram post.
In two separate snaps, the reality star posed in an oversized white tee and a gold satin miniskirt. Her complementary accessories consisted of statement earrings, a chain belt, and metallic pumps. Kardashian would have been around 11 at the time.
North West is Kardashian’s eldest child with her ex-husband, Kanye West. Following in her mom’s footsteps as a fashion icon, North has also done her fair share of sartorial experimentation: she recently debuted electric blue hair and multiple piercings.
Last week, Kardashian co-signed the split-toe shoe trend while stepping out in Los Angeles. She sported the brand’s first-ever Nike footwear collaboration, launching January 26.

Modeled on the Air Rift—first released by Nike in 1996—the new Skims Rift Mesh sneakers feature a Mary Jane silhouette and a split toe. The design was inspired by Maison Margiela’s iconic Tabis, which debuted in 1988.
Kardashian paired her black Rift Mesh sneakers with sheer NikeSkims leggings that featured thin white stripes along each leg. She also layered on a baggy Phoebe Philo leather jacket, priced at a whopping $22,000. The studded outerwear comes with a built-in belt and matching cuffs, both covered in silver embellishments.
The reality star spared no expense when it came to her children’s latest Christmas gifts: in December, Kardashian revealed the cute and cuddly presents she gave North, Psalm, Chicago, and Saint.
Kardashian posted several photos and videos of four different Pomeranian puppies on her Instagram Stories, explaining that “each kid got a puppy.”
