On one hand, we could understand why Bold & Beautiful youngster Will would worry that his mom’s departure from Forrester Creations to start her own fashion house might jeopardize his “career.” And he said as much in the January 20 episode (recapped here). But on the other hand, why would he even want to stay at Forrester?
As it is, Will only became a Forrester intern because Katie nudged him in that direction. Since he began punching the clock there, he has spent most of his time making out with girlfriend Electra. (He must be pretty good at it, though, since he got a promotion of some sort.)

Now Will is suddenly being painted as a character with a keen desire to learn everything there is to know about fashion — despite the fact that we have no idea what he actually does there. Ridge assured him that Katie’s defection wouldn’t affect his position as… um… senior intern? Grand exalted intern? Nepo baby extraordinaire? The dressmaker even said that Will possessed a great combo of his father’s ambition and his mother’s work ethic.
But Will is rich. Like super rich. Why would he want to work at all when he could just spend his days surfing and dropping in on Electra for a little nookie? We can only imagine it’s so that down the line, Ridge and Brooke can test the young man’s loyalty by asking him to spy on the goings-on at Logan. Perhaps “Bridge” will even rip a page from the OG Sally’s playbook and coax will into photographing Logan’s designs as sort of an exclusive sneak peek.
