The AFL Victoria Mildura Roadshow is just around the corner, delivering four days of high-quality football education and practical learning opportunities to the region from 9 to 12 February 2026 at the Mildura Sporting Precinct (MSP). Best of all, every session is completely FREE to attend.
This exciting initiative will bring some of the game’s most experienced and respected football professionals to Mildura, providing local clubs, coaches, umpires, volunteers, and administrators with direct access to elite-level knowledge and support. The Roadshow will feature a diverse program of coaching, umpiring, club development, and football operations sessions designed to upskill participants at every level of the game.
“I am delighted to be bringing some of the best football people to Mildura to deliver a wide range of education and practical sessions right to the doorstep of our local football community,” said Ange Ballinger, AFL Sunraysia Region Manager. “This Roadshow is about strengthening clubs, supporting volunteers, and ensuring everyone involved in the game has access to contemporary learning opportunities.”
The Roadshow will be delivered by highly credentialed AFL Victoria staff, including:
Darryl Collings – AFL Victoria Football Operations Manager
Angela Ballinger – AFL Sunraysia & Wimmera Mallee Region Manager
Joshua Galbraith – AFL Victoria State Coaching Manager
Michael Willcox – AFL Victoria Umpire Education & Support Lead
David Kennedy – AFL Victoria Participation Coordinator
Kale Allen – AFL Victoria Club Development Officer
Sarah Pryer – AFL Victoria Women’s & Girls Experience Lead (Women & Girls Club Charter)
Ricky Coburn – Regional Talent Operations Lead, Bendigo Pioneers
Danny O’Bree – Head Coach, Bendigo Pioneers
The flexible program allows participants to tailor their involvement, with some sessions running for as little as 30 minutes, while others may choose to attend multiple sessions across the four days. Club leaders are encouraged to identify areas within their clubs where these sessions may help fill knowledge gaps, improve processes, and support long-term sustainability.
Local clubs are strongly encouraged to share the Roadshow information widely among members, coaches, committee members, volunteers, and umpires to maximise participation and ensure the entire football community benefits from this unique opportunity.
