Grapple Clinic, based in Farnworth, Bolton, is led by professional MMA fighter and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Saul Rogers, who continues to compete while heading the coaching team at the gym.
The club says it strives to provide a safe and welcoming environment for anyone looking to get started in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, with classes suitable for all levels of experience, from those just beginning their martial arts journey to advanced practitioners.

Grapple Clinic offers a wide range of programmes, including adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA training, women-only classes, youth sessions, teen MMA classes, and specialist sessions for children and beginners.
Memberships are designed to give members access across multiple disciplines, allowing people of different abilities to train side by side.
The gym says its goal is to help members “become the best version of themselves in a welcoming and supportive setting”, with a strong focus on confidence, discipline and wellbeing.

Parents say the approach is already having a positive impact on young members.
Emma Hilton said her son Harry has benefited from attending the children’s classes.
She said: “We can’t thank Saul and the team enough.
“Our son Harry loves the kids class and we’ve seen a massive change in his self-confidence.”
Grapple Clinic describes itself as a place where beginners and seasoned athletes can train together, supported by friendly staff and a strong sense of community.
The club says it hopes the recognition will help highlight the important role martial arts gyms can play in supporting confidence, discipline and positive wellbeing within the Bolton community.
The gym has recently been named among the top ten finalists in the Bolton News Best Gym Awards, recognising its contribution to local sport and fitness.
