Search for teen boy missing whilst swimming at NSW beach

The boy is believed to be about 15 years old and was wearing black boardshorts whilst swimming at Old Bar Beach this afternoon, police said.

Emergency services were called just before 5pm to the beach, about 150 metres north of the Surf Life Saving Club at Old Bar, after reports the boy had not returned from the water.

“Officers attached to Manning Great Lakes Police District responded alongside Marine Area Command, the Westpac Helicopter, and Surf Life Saving NSW.”
