Emmerdale has revealed where Bear Wolf ended up after the shocking discovery that he was behind the murder of Ray Walters. At the start of the month, Bear killed Ray and it was later shared that Bear’s son Paddy Dingle had been helping him to cover it up.
The soap has since been airing special flashback scenes aiming to shed a spotlight on what went on with Ray and between Paddy and his father.
Earlier this week, the soap confirmed that Paddy has known about Bear’s harrowing modern slavery experience since the beginning of January, after Dylan Penders tipped him off in secret.
When Ray turned violent and threatened Paddy and Dylan, Bear stepped in and brutally killed the villain. Paddy and Dylan have been keeping the secret from those around them.
While viewers already know that Ray’s body has been found in present scenes, tonight’s flashback episode focused on how Ray’s murder was covered up after Bear killed him.
In the immediate aftermath of the killing, Bear begged Paddy to perform CPR on Ray. After Paddy said he wasn’t breathing, a desperate Bear said they needed to call an ambulance.

When Paddy tried to phone an ambulance, Dylan told him to stop, saying: “I’m sorry but I can’t let you. The minute you call anyone else, this is out of our hands. You’ve only just got your dad back and he’s going to be dragged off to the police station.”
Paddy told a confused Bear that Ray was dead, leaving Bear in floods of tears, while Dylan covered the body with a blanket.
After Paddy agreed to move the body, he went to pick up supplies. In a shocking moment, Bear tried to drag Ray’s body outside in the middle of the day, so they loaded it into the van.

“I didn’t mean to hurt him. I’d swap places with him if I could,” Bear told Paddy. In a heart-to-heart, Paddy thanked Bear for saving his life.
After Jai went off in the van, unaware that Ray’s body was in the back, Paddy and Dylan agreed to pretend that they didn’t know anything about it.
In the final moments of the episode, Paddy was seen locking Bear in a room in an attempt to make sure he wasn’t caught out for Ray’s murder, which explains why Bear hasn’t been in recent episodes.
