What is the best smartwatch you can buy in (early) 2026 to use alongside your Android phone (from Samsung or any other brand)? That’s obviously a complicated question that requires a lot of careful consideration of one’s specific needs and preferences, but for most of you dear readers, I’m willing to bet that the Galaxy Watch 8 will prove satisfactory (at the very least). This non-rugged timepiece without a rotating bezel in tow is only around six months old, and following a number of surprisingly hefty discounts received around and right after the holidays, it’s now on sale at an incredible $170 under its $429.99 list price in a 44mm variant with built-in cellular connectivity.

That’s right, you can pay just $269.99… if you hurry for a relatively stylish (if you don’t mind the somewhat divisive “cushion” design) and undeniably feature-packed wearable capable of making and receiving voice calls on its own. How great is this deal? Well, let’s just say $269.99 is considerably lower than the regular price of Samsung‘s latest “regular” smartwatch with a 40mm case and no 4G LTE support, and the best Amazon discount at the moment slashes that to only 5 bucks under $270.
Of course, that means Woot’s astounding new 44mm with LTE offer also comes with a “catch”, although I definitely wouldn’t call a 90-day warranty an absolute dealbreaker at that killer price. Not when the units on sale for 12 days (or while supplies last) are brand-new, unused, unopened, and undamaged.

Now, I know 12 days might sound like an eternity, but keep in mind that there’s only one color option in stock (in addition to just one size and one connectivity variant), so don’t be surprised if the deal actually goes away today or tomorrow.Â
This is an objectively excellent Apple Watch Series 11 alternative for Android users, mind you, sporting a high-quality circular AMOLED touchscreen, packing a powerful Exynos W1000 processor, and offering all the sensors and tools you could possibly need to keep a watchful (no pun intended) eye on your health and fitness without visiting a doctor. Just make sure you also go to a physician from time to time!
