Lorenzo Musetti is galloping through and has claimed the first set 6-2 over Taylor Fritz.
The Italian No. 5 has remarkably only dropped four points on serve in the set, which is more remarkable given he had a break point on his serve in the opening game.

So, from that point onwards, he has been impenetrable on serve, winning 86 per cent of his first serves.
Fritz’s abdomen is wrapped up and he is struggling on serve. He is also struggling to stay in games on Musetti’s serve.

Here’s an interesting statistic. In the Open so far, Taylor Fritz has not served and volleyed once. Zero.
It might be something other people do, but now, down a set, he might want to think about introducing it to his game. It would certainly have shock value.
