Stephen Curry moved up to No. 20 on the all-time scoring list during the Warriors’ 111-85 victory over the Timberwolves on Sunday night.

What we know about Sunday’s games:

The Pistons hosted the Kings this afternoon in Detroit and greeted them with their fifth straight loss, as the Pistons earned a 139-116 victory. Cade Cunningham led the way for Detroit, scoring 29 points on 13-for-22 shooting, with 5 rebounds and 11 assists.

The win for Golden State ended Minnesota’s five-game win streak against them, and also included a 26-point effort from Stephen Curry, who now ranks No. 20 on the NBA’s all-time scoring list, passing John Havlicek.
The Raptors and Thunder, two of the top defenses in the Association, squared off and delivered the tight defensive battle you would expect, including 17 lead changes, and neither team getting ahead by more than 7. In the end, it was the Raptors who came out victorious, 103-101.
Inclement weather changed the shape of Sunday and Monday’s NBA schedule, with the Nuggets vs Grizzlies and the Mavericks vs. Bucks both being postponed. Looking ahead, Monday’s Pacers vs. Hawks game has been moved to 1:30 ET, while the 76ers vs. the Hornets has moved to 3:30 ET.

Clippers sailing

Things aren’t going well for Brooklyn, as they trail the Clippers 96-66 after three quarters.

Kawhi Leonard, James Harden, and John Collins are leading the domination, and they all connect here, ending with an emphatic Collins slam.

Defense wins

In a game billed as a battle of two of the league’s top defensive squads, it delivered.

The Raptors came out on top, 103-101 over the Thunder, and it was a block by Scottie Barnes on a Chet Holmgren shot that had the biggest impact on the finish of the game.

Zion, Pelicans soar

The Pelicans built a 20-point lead over the Spurs before squandering it away. However, they were able to finish strong and come out of San Antonio with a 104-95 win.

Leading the way was Zion Williamson, who scored 24 points, including this monster dunk that tied the game in the final minutes, before New Orleans pulled ahead for good.

Lengthy work

Wembanyama puts his albatross-like wingspan to work in the paint, reaching over the Pelican defenders and getting the bucket to go, while drawing enough contact for the foul.

THAT’S UNFAIR, WEMBY!

He just makes it look so easy 😱

Wembanyama has 6 points for the Spurs, who still lead the Pelicans, 27-23, with the first quarter winding down.

Served on a roll

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is no doubt one of the best at getting to the rim through traffic, and he supports that thought here. First the spin, then right into the finger roll for his first bucket of the game.

The Thunder have a 15-14 lead on the Raptors with under 5 minutes to go in the first quarter.

Relentless

Stephon Castle is making things happen early for the Spurs. He hounds Derik Queen on the perimeter, knocking the ball loose, and beats two Pelicans to it. Then gets all the way to the rim for the two-handed finish.

Poke it. Steal it. Slam it!

Wolves claw back

Minnesota was down 14-2 right out of the gates, but slowly chipped away at the Warriors’ early lead.

First, it was DiVincenzo catching fire. Ending the half with 17 points on 6-for-9 shooting, but Edwards made noise too, finishing with a game-high 19 points in the first half, including this step-back triple.

He’s on fire

It’s been a bit of a slow start for the Timberwolves, who still trail the Warriors 40-30 at the midpoint of the second quarter.

However, Donte DiVincenzo has kept them afloat, burying four triples and scoring 14 points, including 9 of Minnesota’s 11 points in the second frame.

Curry cooks up a dime

The Warriors jumped out to a quick 14-2 lead on the Timberwolves, and at the center of the fast start was Stephen Curry, who already has 2 steals and 3 assists, including this picture-perfect bounce pass to Brandin Podziemski for the easy bucket.
