Super Hi-Fi is teaming up with Connoisseur Media in a wide-ranging strategic partnership that will see the fast-growing radio group migrate select stations nationwide to Super Hi-Fi’s AI Radio platform, while also adding Connoisseur CEO Jeff Warshaw to its Board of Directors.

The agreement calls for Connoisseur to re-platform stations using Super Hi-Fi’s cloud-native operating system for radio, built around its “Program Director” technology. The system uses proprietary AI to handle mastering, scheduling, production and delivery, feeding finished audio directly to playout devices at transmitter sites. The goal, the companies say, is to create stations that sound more local, more engaging and more competitive, while modernizing workflows and reducing operating costs.

Warshaw, a three-decade broadcast veteran, brings operational and strategic experience to Super Hi-Fi’s board as the company looks to scale its technology across the industry.

“Our mission is to have the best live and local radio experience in every market across America, and Super Hi-Fi’s unique capabilities will allow us to do that in ways the industry just didn’t have before,” Warshaw said.

Super Hi-Fi CEO Zack Zalon says the partnership is designed to benefit both companies, helping Connoisseur enhance audio quality and efficiency while giving Super Hi-Fi real-world scale for its platform.

“We’re extremely honored to have Jeff on the Super Hi-Fi board and look forward to working with him to not only make Connoisseur the best sounding and most profitable radio group in America, but also to make Super Hi-Fi a better product, a better service, and a better company overall,” Zalon remarked.

Early deployments are already on the air at classic alternative rock “95.9 The River” WERV in Aurora, IL and classic country “104.1 The Ranch” KKUS in Tyler, TX, along with stations in Columbia, SC; San Antonio, TX; and Lincoln, NE. Additional launches are planned throughout 2026.
