Benoit Saint Denis says fans should know what to expect against Dan Hooker at UFC 325.
Saint Denis (16-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC) draws Hooker (24-13 MMA, 14-9 UFC) in Saturday’s lightweight co-main event (Paramount+) at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney.

Fresh off a knockout win over Beneil Dariush at UFC 322 this past November, Saint Denis admits he was a little surprised when he got the call to fight Hooker. But after learning that it’s for UFC 325, he understood why.
“We were pretty surprised by the timing of the fight, but knowing it’s next to his country, it made it more clear why they wanted him to fight there,” Saint Denis told reporters at UFC 325 media day (h/t MMA Crazy). “I was already on holiday in my mind, and I put the switch back on because I mean, BSD-Dan Hooker, you need no promotion. It’s going to be a scrap.”
Hooker questioned Saint Denis’ knockout ability, but the Frenchman had no issues reminding him of what he’s capable of.

“He’s going to find out Saturday,” Saint Denis said. “I don’t know how many knockouts he has in the UFC. I have four, and I have a 100 percent finish rate, and it’s a mix between submissions and knockouts. So, I think he knows. He knows it’s going to be something. I think I will fight the best version of him – I hope so, and may the better fighter win.”
