Alexander Volkanovski and Diego Lopes sized each other up once again Thursday after the UFC 325 pre-fight press conference.
With Ilia Topuria sidelined, an interim belt will be up for grabs when Gaethje (26-5 MMA, 9-5 UFC) clashes with Pimblett (23-3 MMA, 7-0 UFC) in Saturday’s main event at T-Mobile Arena (Paramount+).

The featherweights run back their first meeting from UFC 314, where Volkanovski (27-4 MMA, 14-3 UFC) won the vacant title by winning a unanimous decision over Lopes (27-7 MMA, 6-2 UFC). This time around, the champ gets to fight on home soil as he looks to notch the first defense of his second reign.
Volkanovski gifted Lopes his “Cookin’ with Volk” apron after they shared a shirtless faceoff.
