WA Police say they are responding to a “serious incident’ at a residence in Mosman Park, in Perth’s western suburbs.
A heavy police presence is at a home on Mott Close, and several streets in the area have been cordoned off.
People are being asked to stay away from the area, though there are no concerns for public safety.
A St John Ambulance spokesperson said crews were responding to a critical incident with about half-a-dozen crews on scene.
The street remains closed off with police, detectives and forensics on scene.
Neighbours who spoke to the ABC reported hearing emergency services arrive around 9am, and said it was out of character for the usually quiet area.
WA’s Police Commissioner Col Blanch will hold a press conference with the head of the Major Crime Division at 11:30am local time.
