The headliner is a featherweight title rematch between champion Alexander Volkanovski (27-4 MMA, 14-3 UFC) and Diego Lopes (27-7 MMA, 6-2 UFC). Volkanovski beat Lopes in April 2025 to reclaim the 145-pound title, which had been vacated by Ilia Topuria. Lopes knocked out Jean Silva this past fall to get the rematch.

In the co-feature, lightweight Dan Hooker (24-13 MMA, 14-9 UFC) meets Benoit Saint Denis (16-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC). Hooker, from nearby New Zealand, recently had a three-fight winning streak snapped. Saint Denis has won three in a row.
