CHAPEL HILL, N.C.—The men’s tennis match between North Carolina and Columbia, originally scheduled for Sunday February 1, has been canceled due to inclement weather. Wintry conditions in the state of North Carolina affected the Lions’ travel arrangements and forced the cancellation of the match.

On Friday, the start time for the match was moved up an hour in anticipation of the incoming storm. The match between the 12th-ranked Lions and the Tar Heels was moved 11 a.m. rather than noon. Conditions on Saturday prevented Columbia from reaching Chapel Hill.

Sunday’s women’s match between No. 3 Carolina and top-ranked Georgia will continue as scheduled and now will begin at 1 p.m. rather than its original, 3 p.m. start time.
